CALENDAR PROJECT 五金行日曆 2018 ｜設計制定
This calendar project is an exploration and a small tribute to tradition. A calendar that one tears off a page after each day ends is a typology unique to Asia. We don't see many young people using this type of calendar these days because the social context is now so different. However, we as a design studio have always admired this typology and the important social and functional story behind it, so we decided to revisit the design and update it for today.

2018 年的五金行日曆，我們想要回憶更多傳統的一點點。
那是你我、一家伙仔，對傳統日曆的萬種使用方法，上面的字體、顏色、紙質、氣味而共築的一種集體回憶。它被掛在雜貨店裡、阿嬤的農具倉庫中、街角麵店的牆上，算一天就撕一天。
而因為跟著 2017 年的五金行日曆過了快一年，而更深刻感受到 24 節氣的魔力，於是想用更精準的插畫（符號）揣摩那大暑、大寒、立秋，都真的有對應到的古人智慧。最後我們依然私心保留或增加一些值得被提起的節日，比如世界人權日（畫彩虹）、比如二二八紀念日（一面無語的旗子）、比如登山季（台灣高山很美）。我們想用剛剛好的圖像留下提示，因為並不希望你們被隨之影響。我們希望每一日都是每一日，而不被沒有情人的情人節給打敗。
去年 2017 年撕下來的日曆紙，有一部分變成我們工作室桌上的便條紙，透過塗塗抹抹又變成另一個個新的 idea。在一頁一頁的日曆紙中，今年我們又重新量化了日子，並悄悄的連結我們共同的生活記憶。只是我們依然並不提供人生指南，請好好的過（或者浪費）屬於自己的每一天。
五金行日曆是一個量化時間的實驗企劃，也是我們對市場制式商品與製程的提問。在一天撕一張的日子中，我們希望它可以重新提醒你我日子的重量感，讓時間短暫得從雲端下線，明年，我們「過一天算一天」!
